This wonderful western series starred Clint Walker. A little known item is Clyde Howdy played a townsman in 49 of the 108 episodes. Cheyenne originally aired from 1955 – 1963. Clint left the series briefly to make full length films so Warner Brothers brought Will Hutchins in as Sugarfoot and Ty Hardin in as Bronco to round out The Cheyenne Show. Cheyenne is an American western television series there are 108 black and white hour time slot episodes. Originally broadcast on ABC the – American Broadcasting Company from 1955 to 1963. This show was the first hour long western and the first hour long dramatic series of any kind with continuing characters that lasted more than one season. Cheyenne was also the first series to be produced by a major Hollywood film studio which did not derive from its established film properties. Cheyenne was the first of a long chain of Warner Brothers original series produced by William T. Orr.
