Mountain Man western TV series episode pilot starring Peter Palmer as Critter Calhoun. Peter starred on Broadway and in a film version of Li’l Abner. Also starring in this episode are Jack Weston, Harry Shannon, Crahan Denton, Ben Wright, Dawn Little Sky and Conlan Carter. This is the pilot episode of a suggested TV series titled Mountain Man created around 1959 but never released for public viewing until now. This is episode 33 of The Forsaken Westerns, an original TV series produced by Westerns On The Web Productions. In this episode Critter Calhoun guides some men through dangerous territory to a mission. This is the only known existing episode of this series. The Forsaken Westerns series contains episodes of TV shows that were never broadcast or have not been broadcast in as many as 65 years. Almost lost forever, these rare television film treasures are now being released and uploaded for viewing from the westernsontheweb.com film collection. The Forsaken Westerns is hosted by Bob Terry.
