A Man Called Shenandoah – western TV show. Here is the Intro and some clips with the song to this western show.

Robert Horton played a man who was shot and left for dead. Two buffalo hunters found him out on the prairie and, thinking he might be an outlaw, took him to the nearest town, in the hope of receiving reward money. When he regained consciousness he had no recollection of who he was, or why anyone would want to harm him. The doctor who treated his wounds gave him the name “Shenandoah”, saying the word meant “land of silence”. For the remainder of the series Shenandoah roams the West in search of clues to his identity. He learns that he had been a Union Officer during the Civil War, and comes to believe he had been married. There are 34 half hour black and white episodes of this western TV series. Two of the episodes are believed to be lost and have no remaining copies in existence! Robert Horton composed new lyrics for the traditional folk song “Oh Shenandoah” and sang the “Shenandoah” theme song. His recording became a Columbia single in 1965.
